Caren is a member of a team contracted by RSPO to help develop the organization’s Theory of Change and Monitoring and Evaluation System. She is a seasoned consultant with twenty years’ experience developing projects and delivering social, environmental and economic outcomes through advisory services to NGOs, foundations, and private sector clients. She is a practitioner of impact strategy design, measurement, and performance improvement across diverse sectors. She leverages impact-led thinking, research, facilitation, and evaluation techniques to help clients improve their strategy, tactics, and learning.
Caren has worked for ISEAL members including ASI, BCI, Fairtrade International, RJC and RSB on their impact-led thinking and on system improvements and innovation. She is also an independent evaluator for standards. Prior to starting independent consulting, Caren worked for SustainAbility—serving corporate clients addressing sustainability issues and innovation. She also held the roles of Head of Global Product Management at Fairtrade International and Director of Certification at Fair Trade USA. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in International Relations from Tufts University and MBA degrees from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Caren is based in London, United Kingdom.
