Kendra joined BCI in 2013. She manages the collection, analysis, and presentation of Better Cotton results data and coordinates research and evaluation in collaboration with partners to measure the environmental and social impact of Better Cotton in the medium-long term. Prior to working on the development and promotion of sustainable cotton, she specialised in monitoring and evaluation in the humanitarian sector, specifically on the prevention and response to gender-based violence. She worked on a multi-stakeholder data management initiative with the UN’s Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Geneva and in partnership with UN agencies, local and international NGOs, and governments. She has also worked with the International Rescue Committee and Search for Common Ground. She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of the Pacific in California and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York.
