VISA information

Delegates from around the world are welcome to attend the European Roundtable 2017

Please Note: Entry requirements may change from time to time and should be checked with your local Embassy or Consulate. It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary visas for this trip (for all countries where you will have to clear immigration) and also to ensure you have a valid passport for the duration of your stay in Italy.

Nationals of certain countries must apply for a visa before travelling.

If you are a national or citizen of one of the countries that require a visa for entrance to the UK you must-

  1. Register and pay your delegate fee for the RSPO European Roundtable 2017, do not leave this to the last moment as visas can take time to be issued.
  2. Once the organising team receive your full registration and payment, we can then confirm that you intend to attend the conference.
  3. Please send a scan of your passport with your registration details to

Do I need a VISA?

Please click here to find out if you require a visa to attend this event.
RSPO may be able to supply a letter of your application. If you require a supporting letter please email us.

Visit the UK government’s visas and immigration website to find out what visa you need. From this website you will be able to complete your online visa application form, pay the relevant visa application fee and book your appointment to submit your application at the VFS Global visa application centre.

An applicant can apply for a visa up to 3 months before your date of travel to the UK. We strongly advise you not to confirm your travel arrangements until you have received your visa.

Timing to get the visa: This depends on the category of visa application, but UK Visas and Immigration aims to return 90% of non-settlement visa applications within 15 working days. UK Visas and Immigration cannot guarantee the outcome or the length of time an application takes to process; neither can it guarantee the return of passport and documents within a certain time frame. This is due to the fact that visa applications are assessed individually and individual circumstances can mean processing times may vary and result in longer decision times. Therefore you are requested to wait until a decision on the application is taken since VFS Global does not have any control over the processing times. The processing time for a settlement application is 95% within 12 weeks.
